Can sickness means a Christian has committed a sin?

I have heard a number of times that whenever a Christian is sick, it might be that he has sinned against God.

Does it then mean that a Christian can only be sick if he goes into sin?

We inherited sin from Adam. So we get sick, grow old (sometimes) and die. The second Adam is rectifying what the first had done.

That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned—. (Romans 5:12)
